Tees Valley Rural Action (TVRA) is a dynamic charity working across all five local authority areas of the Tees Valley – Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland, and Stockton on Tees.
We champion rural communities by delivering practical support, capacity-building, and advocacy to help local people, village halls and supporting grass roots community groups thrive.
Our services range from community development and funding support to training, networking, and strategic partnerships. We’re proud to deliver Community Transport services that provide vital, accessible travel options for community groups who face barriers to accessing services/events – connecting people to healthcare, shopping, social activities, and more.
TVRA is also behind initiatives like East Cleveland Good Neighbours Food Bank and Support, and hosting volunteers with The Bread & Butter Thing and East Cleveland Soup Funding Events, which brings communities together to fund grassroots ideas and celebrate local innovation.
