Red Balloons is a small local Charity.  We use Peer Support to give people a safe space to talk about how they feel while encouraging them to use exercise to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.  All our Volunteers have lived experience of mental ill health and difficult times.  They use that experience to support other people in their communities.  We offer Walk & Talk Sessions – in groups and on a 1-1 basis and we also offer Wellbeing Buddies who work closely with people who need extra support to get out and about into the community.  We offer a 7am – 7pm Messaging Service via messenger and a private Wellbeing Support Group via Facebook.  We’re committed to challenging the stigma around mental health and doing our best to support people who are struggling by offering accessible, non-judgemental support services.
