Weekend Booking Clerk

Description


  • The weekend Booking Clerk will take phone calls and emails from potential hirers of the hall
  • Will take accurate details of hirers
  • Record bookings in the diary
  • May be required to show someone round the hall occasionally
  • Liaise with the Caretakers to keep them informed

Ingleby Barwick Community Hall Management Committee

  • To take enquiry phone calls from the public for bookings on Saturdays and Sundays
  • To take and reply to emails regarding bookings
  • To take accurate details from potential hirers of the Hall
  • To record bookings in the diary
  • Liaise with the Treasurer and the Finance Administrator
  • Responsible for care of the mobile phone which is provided
  • Keeping the Caretakers informed is essential

  • Must have a pleasant telephone manner
  • Good organizational skills are essential
  • Basic computer skills

  • Our volunteers must be honest, reliable and trustworthy
  • Must have time available to perform the role
  • A helpful attitude is required
  • The ability to communicate with other Trustees

  • Approximately 1 to 2 hours per week may be required to fulfil the role
  • Information and help will be given whenever necessary
  • Occasionally the Weekend Booking Clerk may be asked to open or close the Hall for a party
