Weekday Bookings Clerk

Description


  • The Weekday Bookings Clerk to take bookings for Monday to Friday for the IBCH
  • Taking and answering of phone calls and emails
  • The tasks will be performed from home on your laptop
  • Liaising with the Hall User Groups
  • May be asked to show people around the building occasionally
  • The monthly Management Committee Meeting takes place on a Friday evening at the Hall and usually last from 7pm until 9pm

Ingleby Barwick Community Hall Management Committee

  • To take bookings from the individuals wanting to hire the hall
  • Taking accurate details from potential hirers
  • To up-date the timetable on-line
  • To update the time table displayed in the building
  • The ability to liaise with the Treasurer and Finance Administrator
  • Entering the bookings into the diary

  • Good organizational skills are essential
  • The Booking Clerk must be honest, reliable and trustworthy
  • Must be able to communicate with user group leaders
  • Be responsible for the phone provided by the Charity
  • Basic computer skills may be required

  • A pleasant telephone manner is required
  • A helpful attitude is essential
  • The ability to communicate with other Trustees
  • A willingness to give ones time

  • Time available to perform the role of Weekday Booking Clerk
  • Approximately 1 or 2 hours per week will be required
  • Attendance at the monthly meeting is optional but preferable
  • Mostly working from home on your laptop so the ability to work alone is essential
  • Information and help will be provided
