Warm Welcome Front of House Refreshments

Description

The Warm Welcome Social Sessions take place every Tuesday 10am-12noon and Thursday 1pm-3pm at Thornaby Pavilion Indoor Bowls Hall. We are looking for people to volunteer for approximately 2.5 hours every fortnight.

The Warm Welcome Social Sessions are providing a friendly, safe space for adults to come together to socialise, play cards and dominoes and take part in lots of different activities from crafting to quizzing. Since the sessions launched in mid May 2023, we have engaged with over 400 people who are isolated or lonely. Thornaby Community Partnership have identified the lack of social provision across Thornaby and launched the Warm Welcome Social Sessions in response to this.
