Warm Welcome Buddy

Description

The Warm Welcome Social Sessions take place every Tuesday 10am-12noon and Thursday 1pm-3pm at Thornaby Pavilion Indoor Bowls Hall. We are looking for people to volunteer for approximately 2.5 hours every fortnight.

The social sessions are simply a place for people to come together face to face to feel connected and socialise. Through several activities, we are also keeping peoples minds active, teaching them new skills and giving them a sense of belonging. But at the heart of the project is to enable those who are isolated and/or lonely to feel comfortable to join our session and meet new people, make new friends.
