Trustee- Secretary, Ingleby Barwick Community Hall

Description


We are looking for a reliable and committed Trustee to ensure all Trust activities comply with the law and any associated paperwork is completed.

Work can be done remotely and attendance at the monthly Management Meeting is optional.

The Charity Secretary will be responsible for the Charity/Trust Administration but will have support from the other Trustees and professional organisations of which the Trust is a member.

  • The Charity Secretary will be responsible for any actions associated with the charitable status of the Community Hall, ensuring the Trust and Trustees comply with the law.
  • Responsible for Trust forms being completed accurately.
  • Will be liaising with other Trustees to ensure the continued operation of a busy public facility.
  • An average of 2 hours per month but more at times of change.

  • Competent level of literacy
  • Competent computer skills
  • The ability to work with others
  • Must be reliable and trustworthy.
  • A background of legal experience would be an advantage.

  • The Charity Secretary will be reliable and trustworthy
  • Will be able to work with others
  • Will have a friendly and enthusiastic approach to the position.

The Charity Secretary will be enrolled as a Trustee of Ingleby Barwick Community Hall.
