The volunteer till assistant plays a pivotal role in working alongside other members of the
retail team to enable customers to purchase their goods quickly and efficiently, all whilst providing excellent customer service.
Providing excellent customer service, assisting with customer enquiries
Processing customer purchases
Handling cash and card payment methods
Cleaning and tidying the till area
Helping customers purchase large items and
booking in deliveries for furniture items.
Replenishing items located near the till area
Service customers and informing them of all
offers at the till.
Recording gift aid donations

Protection Policies
Support shop staff and other volunteers during busy periods
