Tennis Coach Assistants

  • Assist with the tennis coach and facilitation of community tennis sessions. This includes setting up and taking down equipment, promoting the sessions within the local community, participating in training sessions, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for all participants. The goal of the role is to encourage more people in the community to participate in and enjoy tennis.

Description

We Do Tennis CIC is a dedicated organisation with a mission to make tennis accessible for everyone in the community. As we prepare for the launch of LTA Free Tennis, we are looking for passionate, energetic individuals to take up the mantle as Tennis Assistant Volunteers.

Sport and Active Life

  1. Assisting with the setup and take down of equipment for the Free Tennis sessions.
  2. Assisting with the organisation and facilitation of these tennis sessions.
  3. Helping to promote the sessions within your local community, encouraging people of all ages and abilities to get involved.
  4. Participating in training sessions provided by We Do Tennis CIC to understand the basics of tennis coaching and to learn about our specific methodologies.
  5. Ensuring that every participant feels welcome, has fun, and leaves looking forward to the next session.
  6. Helping to maintain a safe environment for all participants by adhering to our policies and procedures.
  7. Providing feedback to the Community Tennis Coordinator about sessions and suggesting improvements or ideas for future sessions.

  1. Full Training will be given

  3. Good organisational skills.

  1. A love for tennis and a passion for increasing participation in the sport.
  2. The ability to motivate and encourage individuals.
  3. No previous experience in tennis coaching is required as full training will be provided.
  4. Basic understanding and knowledge of the rules of tennis would be beneficial.
