Do you love Stockton and want to make a real difference in your community? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Stockton BID Ambassador team — a visible, positive presence in the town centre supporting local businesses, welcoming visitors, and promoting community pride.
As a BID Ambassador, you will:
Welcome visitors and help them discover the best of Stockton
Chat with local businesses, share BID updates, and gather feedback
Promote local events, shops, and attractions
Report issues like litter, vandalism, or safety concerns
Be the ‘eyes and ears’ of the high street – helping keep it safe, clean, and vibrant
Friendly, approachable people who enjoy meeting others and know (or want to learn about!) the town, can represent Stockton BID in a professional, positive way, and are reliable, community-minded, and love local.

You’ll receive:
A BID Ambassador information pack
Town map, event calendar & contact sheets
Training and ongoing support from the BID team
Uniform/ID badge for visibility
Time Commitment:
Flexible volunteer hours – even a few hours a week makes a difference!
