Reception – Middlefield Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS19 8XN.

Role Summary

Do you have some spare time  – can you help by volunteering with us in 2024 ?

This role involves greeting visitors and callers in a polite, professional and courteous manner and carry out a range of reception tasks. There may also be some administration duties that we would ask you to help with from time to time.

You need to be able to take and re-direct calls, deal with visitors, advise departments of their arrival, and ensure they log-in and out of the premises as required.

Ability to answer calls and redirect to appropriate departments,  if you have some computer knowledge it would be great, but it is not a prerequisite for this role.

You will often be the initial  point of contact, either by telephone or as visitors to our organisation, so we are looking for calm, polite, professional and courteous people with a friendly demeanour to present a great first impression of the hospice.
