Covid Call Handler

The
Call Handling volunteer will primarily volunteer alongside the Community Hub
Manager and other Call Handlers to take calls from the public and ensure they
are logged and assigned for fulfilment.

Responsibilities

Role



·
To answer phone
calls from the public and process requests for assistance and support.



·
To answer any
questions that residents have about the service.



·
To be friendly,
informative and helpful.



·
Be able to act in accordance with Catalyst health
& safety procedures including specific Covid related measures.







Knowledge & Skills

Skills required



·
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide audience especially by
phone.



·
Ability to build strong working relationships with staff and other
volunteers.



·
Ability to use basic IT functions.

Personal Qualities

Friendly, open and keen attitude. 

Good communication skills. 

A genuine desire to help others and show empathy and support. .
