Gardening Volunteer

Catalyst House is the home of Catalyst, the infrastructure charity for Stockton on Tees.

The building houses several other charities, including Barnados, Volunteering Matters, Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) and Frade.

The building is also open to members of the public to drop in and find out about volunteering acrossb Stockton on Tees and for those looking to start charities or Community Interest Companies to access support.

The building has a small garden area to the front which has been neglected in recent years and fallen into disrepair. Work started in late 2021 to clear the space and start the process of turning the garden into a community space. Groups of volunteers have already cleared and dug over the ground and we are ready to move to the next phase of turning it into a useful and beautiful space which will enhance the building and the community.

Volunteers are needed to help move us onto the next phase of the Project and get involved in the further development of the space. Volunteers will help with setting up planters, picnic benches and other areas and get stuck in with shovelling and digging! Once the garden is completed, we will need volunteers to help with regular tasks, including weeding, watering and keeping the plants healthy and the space
looking great.
