The volunteer will be the first point of contact
for customers shopping across the various online platforms utilised by Daisy
Chain. You will support the Ecommerce Team
with customer queries and possible complaints therefore good customer service
skills are essential.

You will take a lead on supporting
customers which could involve answering product queries related to areas such
as availability of items, product size and delivery options.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

·
To
support the Ecommerce Manager with customer service across the various online
platform’s utilised by the charity.

·
Support
customers during their online shopping experience

·
Ensuring
all questions are answered with a high level of customer service.

·
Maintaining
Daisy Chains current high review success on all platforms.

·
Carrying
out Ecommerce and relevant sales administration.

·
Liaising
with other areas of Ecommerce to ensure the customers experience is of a high
standard.

·
Maintain
our complaints log and ensure all procedures are followed

Team Working

·
Work within a team, supporting colleagues, recording and sharing
information appropriately and confidentially.

·
To undertake all core training required for this post and other training
and professional development activities as required.

·
Undertake other delegated tasks and responsibilities that fall within
your capabilities.

Other Tasks

 

·
Being
aware of our Gift Aid operation and ensuring Gift Aided items are recorded
accurately.

Knowledge & Skills

·
Previous experience
of working in an E-commerce company is preferred but not a MUST

·
Previous experience
in a customer service position

·
Organised
and a strong aptitude to follow tasks through to completion.

·
Excellent
active listening and time management skills with the capability to address
difficult situations with patience and professionalism.

·
Fantastic
written communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively
via written/typed text.

·
Ability
to resolve customer issues amicably and effectively

·
Understanding
of Ecommerce Platforms such as Ebay, Facebook, Asos, Depop

General Requirements

In return for volunteering within Daisy Chain Project we will provide a
10% discount on

superstore bought items, travelling expenses, access to training and
support through volunteer services.

This voluntary
position is deemed to require an Enhanced DBS Check with the Disclosure and
Barring Service due to contact with children and vulnerable adults, across our
sites.
