This is an opportunity to volunteer with the Learning & Skills Service to assist our tutors delivering our learning programmes to the community.

Whilst volunteering with us you might be supporting learners identified as having additional learning support needs, for example physical disability, learning disability, mental health, and dyspraxia in a classroom situation under the supervision of qualified tutor.

Assisting a designated learner with classroom activity, which may include help with literacy/numeracy or practical skills such as cookery, art or crafts.

Prepare the classroom and support the tutors as required.

None specifically required although a good standard of English would be helpful.

Must be able to make their own way to Billingham Community centre for the start of our classes either morning, afternoon or evening.

Will need to complete a DBS before starting and will need to do some online training in safeguarding prior to starting.
