Description


  • Ingleby Barwick Community Hall need a Charity Secretary to take care of events or situations that involve the Charitable status of the Hall.
  • To accept, understand and distribute information to the Trustees
  • Information and help regarding the history of the Community Hall will be given

Ingleby Barwick Community Hall Management Committee

  • Communications with the Charity Commission
  • Communications with the other Trustees
  • The keeping of records regarding charitable status of the Hall
  • Understanding any changes in the law or rules regarding the Hall
  • Keeping the other Trustees informed
  • Ensuring all documents are current and filed

  • A good grasp of the English Language is essential
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • An understanding of official documents will be needed
  • Experience of the law in some capacity would be an advantage

  • Must be honest, reliable and trustworthy
  • Should have the ability to work with other Trustees
  • Be able to communicate well with others
  • The Charity Secretary will hopefully be able to give a long term commitment

  • Attendance at the monthly Management Committee is optional but preferable
  • Most work will be done from home on your laptop
  • The Charity Secretary must be able to work alone
  • Experience of legal type documents would be an advantage
