Stockton & District Advice &
Information Service (SDAIS) is the Citizens Advice Bureau for the Borough of
Stockton-on-Tees. Last year we helped thousands of local people with over
40,000 welfare problems. People come to us with a wide range of problems,
including money and debt, housing, employment, welfare benefits, consumer,
health and social care, and much more. Our Administration and Reception
volunteers provide vital back room and front of house support roles to ensure
people get the excellent service we want to deliver. Roles could include:
Reception – meet and greet; information about SDAIS services and how to access
them; signposting. Administration – data inputting, collecting local and
national information resources, data analysis.




Support provision
of advice and information to clients

Knowledge & Skills

Full training
provided. Basic IT skills required.

Personal Qualities

Good communication skills. Commitment to SDAIS Aims & Principles

General Requirements

Commit to role for 6 months.
