Be part of the King’s Coronation
Stockton on Tees Borough Council (SBC) are looking for volunteer food servers, music/craft/dance activity support volunteers for their Coronation Event on Saturday 6th May 2023. The event includes the Coronation lived streamed on a large screen positioned outside of the Town Hall/Fountain area to enable visitors to watch the proceedings throughout the day.
Volunteer roles needed
Living History Archive and Writing activity for their Coronation event on Saturday 6th May 2023.
Volunteers will support Bright Minds Big Futures and PEG Creations to encourage members of the public to contribute to a Coronation Living History Archive through photography/ voice messages/ film. They will also support people to write postcards for the King. You will be needed from 9.30am-1.00pm and 12.30pm-4.00pm. Click here to offer your time to help.
Dance Activity Support Volunteers
Wat to get involved with dancers and performers for their Coronation event on Saturday 6th May 2023. Volunteers are needed 10am-2.30pm. You will learn dance routines from creative practitioners on the day of the event and support the public to engage in a range of dance workshops. Click here to offer your time to help
Craft Activity Support Volunteers
Volunteers are needed 10.00am-2.30pm to support New Leaf’s flower pressing activity by helping the public to engage in the drop in activity during the event. A great volunteer opportunity for anyone who loves arts or crafts. Click here to offer your time to help
Music Activity Support Volunteers
Stockton on Tees Borough Council is looking for volunteers to support members of the public to join in with a music activity. You should have basic music and instrument playing skills and be confident with public interaction.
