The Catalyst Stockton Achievement Awards 2016

Following an emotional and inspiring awards ceremony in 2015, the Catalyst Achievement Awards 2016 are set to be the biggest ever.

The Catalyst Achievement Awards are an opportunity for us to celebrate the excellent work of individuals and organisations in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in Stockton-on-Tees.

This is the 7th Annual Awards Ceremony.

People are so busy doing great work that they forget to take a step back to take a look at what they have achieved. Our Achievement Awards provide that opportunity to reflect and recognise some of that excellent work.

Since the first Awards Ceremony in 2010 we have seen some excellent winners including last year’s Outstanding Achievement Award Winner; 95 year old John Maclean who has been a dedicated leader and volunteer for Billingham Synthonia Scout Group for all of his adult life. He has been with the scout group since March 1932, and finally stepped down from his chair position last year, after volunteering with the group for over 80 years.

This year, Catalyst received more nominations than ever before, leaving the judging panel consisting of voluntary, private and public sector representatives a very difficult job. However, they have delivered and Catalyst is delighted to announce this year’s finalists in each of the 11 categories.

The Catalyst Achievement Awards Ceremony will be held at Wynyard Hall on 2nd June where a winner in each category will be announced in front of an audience of 150+ guests. All finalists, nominators and some lucky guests will celebrate the diverse and dazzling work in our Borough with some good food and great local entertainment.
